Today, millions of people would love to meet Taylor Swift and get her autograph, but in 2007, you only had to be in Lancaster.
That is right, the superstar known around the world made a stop in February 2007 at the Meijer.
The night before she had opened up for George Strait at a concert in Columbus.
Swift was only 17 at the time and had released her self-titled album with hits like “Tim McGraw” the year before.
Fans brought everything from CDs to cowboy hats for her to sign.
The store manager at the time estimated that more than 500 people turned out to meet Swift.
