Travis Kelce explains how his cameo on Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour happened and teases that he is up to joining the singer on stage in the future.
The Kansas City Chiefs star joined Swift on stage during the third night of her London shows. Kelce made a surprise appearance wearing a top hat during the intro of “I Can Do with a Broken Heart.”
“I initially mentioned it to Tay,” Kelce said on the New Heights podcast he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce. “I was like, ‘How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 era.’”

Kelce said that Swift asked if he would do something like that with the NFL star adding, “I was just like, ‘What? I would love to do that, are you kidding me? I’ve seen the show enough — might as well put me to work here. And sure enough, she found the perfect part of the show for me to come in.”
The tight end said, “There was no bike in case I ran into somebody else or hit one of the dancers or anything. It was the safest option.”
Kelce enjoyed his time so much on stage that he hinted that he could make another appearance soon.
“Shout out to Tay for letting me, jump on stage with her. Who knows? Might not be the last time,” he said. “You guys will have to keep showing up to the Eras Tour to see if I pop out of the stage or whatnot.”
