Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, rocked up on stage with the Bad Blood billionaire at Wembley Stadium on Sunday for the singers epic Eras Tour
Travis Kelce has revealed what it was really like performing with Taylor Swift at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
Swifties went wild when the Bad Blood billionaire, 34, brought her boyfriend, also 34, onto the stage for her Eras Tour as he dramatically swooped her up into his arms after she pretended to faint.
Speaking to his brother Jason on their New Heights podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs star was wowed by the star-studded night as he recalled the reverie, which saw thousands of Taylor's fans screaming his name.
Opening up about the "awesome experience", he said: "Dude, it was amazing, so cool. Playing in front of 90,000 at Wembley Stadium. I remember 2015 playing in front of 80,000 in Wembley Stadium and then seeing Tay up there going crazy. They get a lot louder for Taylor than they do for American football.
"It was an awesome experience. Everyone's so into it. They're singing all the songs. It was…there's two concerts that have been like that. That one and the first time I saw Bruce Springsteen live, but it was equal kind of level of like just these insane fandoms that love these artists so much."
Admitting the sold-out concert in London had made him emotional, Jason told his brother: "Dude, I've never cried at a f***ing… I was literally tearing up, watching this little girl's entire, I'm about to tear up right now. It was f***ing so special. It was awesome. Every single show she does it. And she makes every show unique with the acoustic set."
Travis agreed before adding he didn't know how Tay Tay could play a whopping 46 songs live when he was: "tired of drinking these beers and Taylor's still singing." For the first time in their relationship, Taylor and Travis, who have been dating since last September, made things official at her concert.
The American football ace appeared on stage during the star's performance of I Can Do It With A Broken Heart, much to the enjoyment of the audience. Disguised as one of Taylor's dancers, Travis picked up his superstar girlfriend as the sold-out crowd went wild.
As Travis traded in his usual NFL gear for a dapper suit and top hat, ESPN's Pat McAfee sang his praises on his TV show, posting on X, formerly Twitter: "Travis Kelce… killin' it." The former Colts punter added. "Poised, prepared, strong, filled with moxie and willing to do whatever to support his partner Taylor Swift. Once again, I can't reiterate this enough, a football guy has gone into this pop culture world and showcased what can be."
