In its first three days on the platform, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” garnered an impressive 4.6 million views, with fans collectively watching 16.2 million hours of the three-and-a-half-hour extravaganza.
Using data gathered from Disney+ and their website, JustWatch has compiled information on the success of the concert film compared to Swift’s other work. As seen by the graphic, it was a huge success.
Like all streaming companies, Disney is grasping for ways to turn a profit on Disney+. Alongside multiple price rises in the last couple of years, driving new customers to the site is crucial.
It seems the film did a good job of driving that for Disney too.
