A few years ago Cardi B was an unknown name, even when the musician broke into the Reality TV world with VH1’s Love & Hip Hop, there was still little known about her besides the fact that she had an incarcerated fiance. Then came Bodak Yellow (Money Moves). Cardi erupted into the music world with the smash hit song after she signed with Atlantic Records, and the rapper cemented her spot as one of the top artists of the year.  Many are now wondering just how much Cardi B is making with all of her impressive success. What is Cardi B’s net worth?
When Bodak Yellow (Money Moves) dropped, the single immediately topped the Billboard 100 in September of that year. Cardi B made history with Bodak Yellow, being the first female rapper to achieve the coveted Billboard 100 spot with a solo single since 1998 when Lauryn Hill released “Doo Wop (That Thing)”. From then on out, the I Like It rapper’s net worth grew and grew exponentially. 
Insider reported just how rapidly the musician’s income has grown citing a reported $400,000 in January of 2016 to $1.5 million in February of 2017. AOL then reported that in September of 2017, shortly after Bodak Yellow dropped Cardi B’s net worth grew to $4-$5 million. By August of the next year, Cardi’s income increased to a whopping $8 million. 

Cardi B has not just had success in the music world, but also in the fashion and endorsement world as well, which no doubt has helped her net worth rise so quickly. Most recently Cardi B was featured in Pepsi’s Super Bowl commercial and her trendsetting has landed her some big-name partnerships. The No Limit rapper also recently announced a Las Vegas residency which is sure to raise her net worth even more.
