As seen in photos published by the Daily Mail, Taylor Swift brought back a highly symbolic accessory for a night out with a few of her famous friends in London Tuesday night, sporting the same Lorraine Schwartz watch choker she debuted at the 2024 Grammys in February — the night she announced that her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” was on the way.
While Swift dressed up the bespoke bauble with a white Schiaparelli corset gown, dramatic opera gloves and layers of diamonds for music’s biggest night, she went polished and professional for her dinner in Notting Hill, opting for a pinstriped coat ($2,200 $1,100), sculpted corset ($1,775 $1,065) and floral-print trousers by one of her go-to designers, Stella McCartney.
A maroon Gucci Jackie Notte mini bag ($3,980) and matching Signoria slingback pumps ($1,150) added pops of color.
But Swifties quickly zeroed in on her necklace — and suspected it might be an Easter egg, considering she last wore the piece to share some major musical news.
“I’m scared. something is happening,” one fan shared on X (formerly Twitter).
“taylor wearing the clock necklace again…must admit she has me slightly terrified over here!!!” a second joked.
Asked a third, “What is she up to?”
“That clock necklace only means its [sic] time for announcements,” a fourth wrote.
And quipped a fifth, “not to be dramatic… but taylor wearing the clock choker again is so f—king spooky.”
Sharing cryptic clues via clothing and accessories is nothing new for Swift; the “Down Bad” songstress is famous for using everything from designer gowns to friendship bracelets to drop hints about her upcoming music and even her romantic relationships.
As for whether she’s got another big announcement up her sleeve? Time will (quite literally) tell when Swift hits the stage in Liverpool later today for her 100th Eras Tour show.
