When Cardi B isn't performing her hits or walking red carpets, she is spending time with her children.
Amid the success of her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, Cardi B revealed that she was expecting her first child with Migos rapper Offset.
She made the reveal during her performance on Saturday Night Live on April 7, 2018.
Months later, in July, the couple welcomed their daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus.
In June 2021, she and Offset announced they were expecting their second child together.
Their son, Wave Set Cephus, was born that September.
The Grammy Award-winner has shared glimpses of her life as a mother-of-two on her social media pages.
Cardi B and Offset began dating in 2017.
According to Brides, their first date was at that year's Super Bowl in February, and they were secretly married by September.
On September 15, 2020, Cardi B filed for divorce in Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia.
Only days before filing, she posted a cryptic quote to her Instagram Story that read: "Her heart finally told her to stop wasting her time."
The divorce filing comes after years of Offset being publicly accused of cheating.
However, the two welcomed their son in 2021 and have remained on and off.
In a 2024 interview with Rolling Stone, Cardi opened up about their tumultuous relationship.
She said, "We’re best friends. And it’s like, ‘OK. Well, there was a time that I didn’t have a best friend, or I didn’t have a support system.
She added, “It’s not even about ‘How do you leave a partner?’ How do you stop talking to your best friend?”
Offset is a father to five children whom he has welcomed with different women.
Besides his two children with Cardi B, he has three children with three other women.
He became a father when his son Jordan, whom he shares with a woman named Justine Watson, was born in 2009.
In 2015, the rapper had another son with an ex-girlfriend named Oriel Jamie.
His oldest daughter, Kalea Marie, was born in 2015. He shares Kalea with her mother, rapper Shya L'amour.
Cardi B previously spoke about her blended family with Offset and her stepchildren.
In 2019, she told Vogue, "When I was pregnant with Kulture, a lot of people [were] like, ‘Oh, he has three kids already; why would you have a kid with somebody that has three kids?’”
“And it’s like, how is that such a bad thing? My dad has eight kids, and we all get along, and it feels better, fuller.
"And with Offset, I feel like his kids just bring a pop of fun to life when they’re in his house.
"I actually love it. It brings out a different side of him that I like to see, and I love to see my baby interacting with her siblings. The more the merrier.”
