Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce has been accused of ‘always being drunk’ and ‘loving the attention’ by former ‘One Tree Hill’ star Jana Kramer, who fears for the pop superstar
Travis Kelce has been accused of being perpetually inebriated as concerns over his suitability for Taylor Swift have surfaced.
Jana Kramer, the former "One Tree Hill" actress, has branded Kelce "corny" and criticised him for "always" being drunk, voicing her worries about his relationship with Swift.
Since their relationship went public in September, the romance between fourteen-time Grammy winner Swift and NFL star Kelce has been a hot topic, but Kramer didn't mince words when she expressed her belief that Kelce isn't Mr. Right for Swift.
Post another stellar NFL season culminating in his third Super Bowl triumph with the Chiefs following an overtime win against the San Francisco 49ers in February, Kelce has been enjoying life. However, his outburst towards head coach Andy Reid during the big game, which nearly sent the 66 year old tumbling, drew criticism.
Kramer, who split from ex-NFL tight end Mike Caussin in 2021, sees warning signs in Kelce's conduct both on and off the pitch. On her "Whine Down" podcast, she remarked, "He reminds me of my ex," adding, "It just feels a little corny, cheesy, loving the attention. It just feels like he's loving the attention."

She also shared her mixed feelings about their public displays of affection: "I also am the person that watched her run off the stage and hug him in the beginning a billion times, it was the cutest thing ever and I loved it at first and then as it went on, the Super Bowl thing kind of rubbed me the wrong way, the aggression there and I've just heard things that I don't love.
"But again, I just want everyone to be happy is what I'll default to. I don't know, it's something about him that reminds me of my ex that just rubs me the wrong way."
Kramer didn't hold back with her criticism, adding: "To me, he is always drunk. Every time I've seen him in a video, he's just always drunk and I hope she doesn't go on that [path]. I see her drinking more now because of the company you keep."
However, Kramer's comments didn't sit well with many listeners. One responded: "'He reminds me of my ex' that sounds like some major projection. If he is corny and cheesy, Taylor seems just fine with it. As for the drinking by either of them, it's not anyone's business they are both young, highly successful people… Let them be happy."
Kelce has been under the microscope more than ever since his rise to fame. Despite this, his quarterback Patrick Mahomes stands by him. He defended Kelce on the "Impaulsive" podcast, saying: "[Kelce is] just a good dude, man. He understands. He's smart. He puts on this persona of 'I'm partying, I'm drinking' but he's really super intelligent."
"'Our friendship built naturally. He's kind of like me. He's friends with all his boys he grew up with. I'm friends with all my boys I grew up with and we've all become this one big group."
