Taylor Swift fans will have to wait a little longer for the pop megastar's red carpet debut with beau Travis Kelce with neither stars set to attend next week's Met Gala.
The Cruel Summer singer and her Kansas City Chief's football boyfriend were tipped to attend the New York fashion event together on May 6.
Media reports swirled earlier this week over chatter the loved-up couple both received an invite to the gala, known as fashion's biggest night, but were unavailable to attend.

Then it was reported the Shake It Off singer would be making an appearance solo.
However, it has been confirmed to People that the 34-year-old will not be attending.
Instead, she's focusing on rehearsals for the European leg of her Eras Tour.
Swift is scheduled to perform in Paris on 9 May.
This means the couple's red carpet debut will have to wait for another occasion.
They had a close encounter with a red carpet last week when they attended The 15 and Mahomies Golf Classic gala in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
In a video shared on X, formerly Twitter, the pair – who began publicly dating in 2023 – are seen holding hands as they walked through the crowd.

The couple attended the gala to support Kelce's friend and teammate Patrick Mahomes.
Swift's decision to focus on her tour dates comes just weeks after releasing her new album The Tortured Poets Department.
The 31-song double album debuted at No. 1 on the all-encompassing Billboard 200 albums chart, selling 2.61 million so-called equivalent album units in the US in the week ending April 25, according to Billboard.
"My mind is blown. I'm completely floored by the love you've shown this album," Swift said in an Instagram post.
"2.6 million ARE YOU ACTUALLY SERIOUS?? Thank you for listening, streaming, and welcoming Tortured Poets into your life. Feeling completely overwhelmed."

The Tortured Poets Department is Swift's 14th album to claim the top spot. She is now tied with Jay-Z for the second-most No. 1 albums by a recording artist.
Both artists remain just a handful of steps behind The Beatles' 19 top albums.
