(CNN) – Lady Gaga is making her long-awaited debut as Harley Quinn in the “Joker” sequel.
“Joker: Folie A Deux” will star Gaga alongside Joaquin Phoenix, who is reprising his Oscar-winning role as the title character.
The trailer dropped on Tuesday, April 9. It shows the villainous pair waltzing around a street, dodging explosions and running from mobs as a haunting rendition of the classic song “What the World Needs Now is Love” plays in the background.
The film will premiere in theaters on October 4.
