Joker: Folie à Deux: Fans get a peek at Lady Gaga`s Harley Quinn in new audio tease – WION

The trailer for Joker: Folie à Deux will release on April 9.
Lady Gaga is soon set to surprise her fans as Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker’s girlfriend Harley Quinn in Todd Phillips’ musical. After a sleeper hit that the 2019 DC film proved to be, with Joaquin as the lead, Lady Gaga will take over as his girlfriend in the second part, titled Joker: Folie à Deux. 
The film will see Joaquin and Lady Gaga get together as a couple on the screen for the first time. 
Makers dropped an audio preview of the star as the character was unveiled. Lady Gaga as Harley is heard saying, “You can do anything you want… you’re Joker.” Lady Gaga features in a TikTok video that was shared by the official account of the Todd Phillips film. 
The preview was dropped the same day the key art for the sequel film was released. The poster shows Phoenix’s Joker dipping Gaga’s Harley Quinn amid a dance.

Joker: Folie à Deux’s cast also includes Catherine Keener, Brendan Gleeson and Zazie Beetz.
The poster teased that the trailer for the new DC film will release on April 9. 
Joker: Folie à Deux is part of DC Elseworlds and is not part of the universe that Peter Safran and James Gunn have been building since they took over the reins of the DC Universe and aims to give it a rejig with some new storylines, characters and narrations.

Lady Gaga is taking on the role of Harley Quinn for the first time. Previously, we had seen Margot Robbie essay the role in films such as Suicide Squad (2016), Birds of Prey (2020), and The Suicide Squad (2021).
