After jetting off to the Bahamas for a romantic getaway earlier this month, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were spotted holding hands in Malibu this weekend. And while Hollywood's most talked-about couple were practically glowing while entering Nobu, internet trolls are convinced Swift was "yelling" at her Super Bowl-winning boyfriend.
According to Newsweek, a video of the pair having an animated conversation while dining at the celeb-fave haunt surfaced on TikTok and ignited rumors of an argument. Some even took the conversation to Reddit, where they debated what she was "yelling at Travis" about.
One fan claimed that Swift told Travis, "I already asked you for that."
"Lol she looks mad," wrote added.
However, plenty of Swifties were quick to defend the couple.
"Would people stop saying she’s scolding him? Some people are animated speakers. Maybe she’s retelling a story, like, you have no idea so stop making shit up," one fan wrote in the comment section on TikTok. "She's such a passionate girl period," another said.
"I don’t think for a second that she was screaming until crazy people started saying so because they were projecting their relationships onto others," a third person chimed in. " [It's] a completely normal conversation 🤣."
Despite online reports to the contrary, the couple looked happy together as they dined on Nobu sushi. They were all smiles as they exited the restaurant, too. Prior to their lunch outing, Kelce and Swift enjoyed a "much-needed" vacation in the Bahamas, where they were captured by Page Six sipping frozen drinks and kissing in the ocean.
"They vacationed in the Bahamas for several days," a source told People. "It was a much-needed break for both of them. They very much enjoyed it. They are so happy together."
According to other reports, Kelce is already working on their summer travel plans and has booked rooms and reservations at luxe destinations across France and Italy.
"He wants to take her on romantic getaways to have her relax and go discover those nice cities and European romantic places together," a source for Page Six claims.
