After watching this when it comes out, we can officially say we’ve seen The Eras Tour so many times.
Last year may have been the official year of Taylor Swift, but the pop icon is far from finished as her concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: Taylor’s Version, is headed to Disney+ this month.
The film first hit theaters in October, with several songs from the set list notably missing, including “The Archer,” “Wildest Dreams,” “Long Live,” and “Cardigan.” When Taylor launched an extended version of the concert film on her birthday, Dec. 13, she added three of those songs back into the cut. However, Swifties still missed out on hearing the Folklore hit, “Cardigan.”
I’m delighted to tell you that you’ll be able to watch Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (My Version) a few hours earlier than expected! Experience the ENTIRE concert film for the first time ever, beginning to end, including “cardigan” and FOUR new acoustic songs on @DisneyPlus… pic.twitter.com/lxiALKzmN1
On Thursday, March 14, the biggest Swifties can stream the Eras Tour movie on Disney+, complete with the elusive “Cardigan” alongside four acoustic songs from the “surprise song” section of the show. These four tracks are likely “Maroon,” the popular track from Midnights; “I Can See You (From the Vault) (Taylor’s Version)” from Speak Now; “You Are In Love” from 1989; and “Death By a Thousands Cuts” from Lover. All four songs were featured during the acoustic sets Taylor played during her first set of shows at SoFi Stadium in California, where Swift recorded her performances of The Eras Tour.
Whether you were lucky enough to get tickets to see The Eras Tour Live or waited until it hit streaming services, you won’t want to miss the certifiable streaming event of the year (you know we’re right!). Check out the trailer for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: Taylor’s Version below!
