Music news
In October 2019, Lady Gaga asked a pressing question to the tens of millions of people who follow her on Twitter: “ What is Fortnight? » The post exceeded one million likes in three days. After five years of waiting, the singer revealed that she not only knows what the video game is (and how to spell its name) but also that she is collaborating with the Fortnite festival.

“ Fortnite* », Wrote the musician on X, quoting her original message. Below, she shared a photo of her in-game avatar, immersed in a pink mist. When the Fortnite festival launches its second season on February 22, some tracks from Gaga’s discography will be available in the game, which works similarly to Rock Band and Guitar Hero, or Tap Tap Revolution.
The Fortnite festival launched last year with a special collaboration with The Weeknd, whose music was made available in-game alongside a character skin that users could apply to their own players. Other tracks from Kendrick Lamar, Weezer and Gaga have already been made available in the game.
Over the years, Fortnite has hosted massive virtual concerts from Marshmello and Travis Scott, who performed on an in-game island and transformed the battle royale game into an arena. The rapper also made a custom skin available to users.
The rumor that Gaga herself would hold a virtual concert in Fortnite began circulating in 2022. According to Outan audio clip of an updated rendition of “ Poker face » was leaked on Twitter by an account named @FNLeaksAndInfo.
