Everything coming to Disney Plus in March – including Taylor Swift Eras Tour – The Mirror

Swifties are counting down the days until the House of Mouse finally screens her Eras Tour in its entirety. And it’ll be well worth the wait with five new bonus tracks not seen in theatres – or when it was initially released on demand last year
We're just weeks away from Taylor Swift 's Eras Tour coming to Disney Plus – and it's the first time you can see the concert film in its entirety.
With five new bonus tracks not seen in theatres or when it was initially released on demand in December, no wonder Swifties are counting down the days! The Disney Plus release will include 'Cardigan' and four extra acoustic songs. The film version of Taylor's global tour features captivating footage of the pop starlet belting out some of her most beloved songs spanning all ten of her albums, including hits from Folklore, Evermore, Lover, Midnights, Red, and 1989.
Released in October, the Eras Tour has become the highest-grossing concert movie of all time earning more than £200m at the worldwide box office. It also scooped a nomination at the 2024 Golden Globes for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.
And it isn't hard to see why. The whole show is a masterclass in contemporary pop, with Taylor guiding us through a captivating three and a half hours of enchanting musical bliss. Whether your favourite track is Blank Space, Anti-Hero, Love Story or 22, you will be taken on a journey through the pop icon's career in impeccable Style.
The epic concert film was recorded over three nights at California's SoFi stadium in August and was directed by British filmmaker Sam Wrench. So whether you busted a gut to no avail trying to secure tickets for the UK leg or are gearing up for the concert-of-a-lifetime this year, you can now sing along from your living room from March 15.
Also coming to the platform next month is Renegade Nell , a daring tale of highway robbery and feminine revolt set in the 18th Century. The brainchild of Happy Valley and Gentleman Jack creator Sally Wainwright, the show stars Derry Girls' Louisa Harland as the titular lead character, a fearless young woman who, framed for murder, unexpectedly transforms into the infamous highwaywoman of 18th century England.
Throughout its eight episodes, the storyline takes an intriguing turn when Nell encounters a magical spirit named Billy Blind, played by Nick Mohammed, best known for his role as Nate in Ted Lasso. This encounter unveils Nell's destiny, revealing it to be far grander than she could have ever imagined.
Disney Plus is also poised to release stunning feudal Japan series Shōgun , which tells the intrepid story of John Blackthorne, an English sailor who finds himself stranded near the Izu Peninsula on Japan's southwestern coast. In this unfamiliar land, shaped by power struggles among noble houses competing to attain the coveted title of Shōgun, Blackthorne becomes entwined in a world of political intrigue. Taken into the household of Lord Toronaga, he bears witness to the rise of his new 'master' and the complicated palace machinations that accompany it.
Loosely inspired by the historical ascent of Shōgun Tokugawa Leyasu in the 1600s, the saga draws parallels to the real-life story of William Adams, the shipwrecked advisor, who not only became the first Englishman to set foot in Japan but also the first to become a samurai. A ripping yarn that'll doubtless have you hooked, Shōgun lands on February 27 with episodes dropping throughout March.
