Fortnite players are excited about the latest Festival collab with Lady Gaga but were hoping for more of her iconic looks.
Fortnite Festival is Epic Games’ modern take on Guitar Hero with everyone’s favorite skins within the universe. Play popular songs on the keyboard, controller, or hook up an instrument and rock on. The new mode was introduced alongside the release of Chapter 5 with Rocket Racing and LEGO Fortnite.
The Weeknd was the first artist featured in the Festival pass. Featuring his own skin, emote, and instruments.
Now that the first season has concluded, a new artist has been brought to the forefront — Lady Gaga. While her addition has been well-received, players felt like Fortnite missed the mark with her skin.
Fortnite players took to Reddit to share their thoughts on the current state of the Lady Gaga skin for Fortnite Festival. In a post with over a thousand upvotes, players pointed out that Lady Gaga is missing many of her more transformative looks.
“She needs to have minimum of 5 different styles to take us through all her transformation over the years,” said one user. “Poker Face, Meat Dress, and Bad Romance are a must.”
“Now the question is will we get how she looks now as the skin, or an iconic look of hers as the skin,” said another. “I wouldn’t mind a meat dress skin of her.”
Lady Gaga’s controversial, yet famous, meat dress from 2010 was the main talking point within the community. Multiple players mentioned that it should be added to her current skin as a variant at the very least.
While Fortnite has not made any comment regarding the future of the Lady Gaga skin, they did answer the community’s request for more of her popular songs to be added to the game.

The Weeknd from the previous collab had minimal variants to his skin. However, Fortnite has been generous with other skins getting additional variants in the past so nothing can be ruled out.
