PREVIOUSLY, Lady Gaga admitted to her unfamiliarity with Fortnite.
However, the Rain On Me singer and the gaming platform have joined forces for a one-time-only virtual event.
On February 20, 2024, Lady Gaga announced she was headlining the Fortnite Festival.
The Grammy Award winner tweeted what appeared to be a design of her Fortnite character.
She also reposted a 2019 tweet asking her followers: "What's fortnight?"
In her repost, she corrected her erroneous spelling of Fortnite and an image of her supposed game character.
In the abovementioned image, she appears to be dressed in a costume similar to the cover of her album Chromatica.
The collaboration is happening almost two years after Gaga was initially rumored to be headlining the platform's previous festivals.
The speculation first circulated in August 2022.
Ultimately, The Weeknd was announced as that year's headliner instead of Gaga.
Gaga's fans have also wondered if she'll preview her seventh album at her Fortnite performance.
While discussing the possibility of new music, she told EW: "There's always music in my heart, in the works.
"It's just about [asking], 'What will it be?' I'm not ready to answer that yet.
"But what I will say is that…I'm always thinking about music. It just comes out in different forms."
On February 22, 2024, the Fortnite Festival is scheduled to be opened by Gaga.

Once the shop is opened, scroll down to the Discover screen.
After the user scrolls down to Discover, select the Festival Jam Stage.
