Taylor Swift is everywhere these days—even in a Hallmark Channel movie set in the early 1800s.
The pop star isn’t literally in the new movie, which debuts as part of the channel’s “Loveuary” season on Sat., Feb. 17, but the lyrics of one of her fan-favorite songs do make an appearance.
According to a preview clip of An American in Austen shared with People, a line from Swift’s track “Anti-Hero” is referenced onscreen by actress Eliza Bennett, who stars in the film alongside Nicholas Bishop. Bennett portrays a modern-day woman named Harriet who unexpectedly finds herself transported into the world of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.

The clip shows Harriet sitting at a window and opening a prayer with the words, “It’s me. Hi.” Bennett’s character then seems to realize she had unintentionally started her prayer by quoting the song from Swift’s 2022 album Midnights. Harriet recites the rest of the lyric: “I’m the problem. It’s me,” before referring to Swift as “the voice of a generation.”

The lyric is iconic among the “Blank Space” singer’s fans and is even known by many who are less familiar with her music due to the extent to which it has spread throughout popular culture. Swift used part of the lyric in her X user bio until recently, when she replaced it with information about her forthcoming album The Tortured Poets Department.
Swifties curious to see firsthand how Hallmark used the “Anti-Hero” lyric won’t have to wait long. An American in Austen premieres at 8 p.m. ET on Feb. 17.
