This week: Jimmy Fallon teamed up with Lin-Manuel Miranda and Miley Cyrus to present parodies and new versions of holiday songs, while James Corden hosted a Christmas-themed "Carpool Karaoke" and taught Cardi B how to drive. Samantha Bee took on ICE in her Full Frontal special, complete with ice-skating and holiday spoofs.

Cardi B joined James Corden for "Carpool Karaoke" this week, where she was given a driving lesson by the host.
As they sang "Money," she shouted to kids outside: "Stay in school! Listen to your mom or you won't be getting no Christmas gifts. Go tell your moms to buy my new single."
Cardi B also revealed that she can't drive but has five cars. When Corden asked why she has the cars, she responded, "To take pictures with it."
"You know how many things I can rap about now that I own these cars? I couldn't rap about these cars because I didn't own them," she explained.
Corden insisted that she learn to drive, so he took her to a parking lot with traffic cones and flags. After only a few seconds of driving, she ran into a cone. She later backed into multiple flags and backed into a camera when she attempted to parallel park. "I give up," she said, before she returned to the passenger seat.
Also this week, Corden released a Christmas-themed "Carpool Karaoke" with Ariana Grande, Paul McCartney, Cardi B, Shawn Mendes, Barbra Streisand, Adam Levine, Migos and Christina Aguilera performing "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)."

Miley Cyrus put a feminist touch on an old holiday classic. Just before performing "Santa Baby" on Thursday's Tonight Show, Cyrus met up with Jimmy Fallon to point out some of the lyrics to the song she had questions about. "Am I saying that I'm going to hook up with Santa if he buys me all this stuff?"
So she changes a few of the lyrics to match up with her own viewpoint, singing: "Santa Baby, I don't need any fancy jewelry. Not me. I've got something else in mind," she sang.
"Don't want diamonds, cash or stocks. Nothing that comes in a box. No more fluff, I've had enough. And I can buy my own damn stuff."
While she continues to update the lyrics, Mark Ronson comes in as a backup dancer with Fallon as Cyrus drops her biggest wish list item: "Listen Santa to what I say, a girl's best friend is…equal pay."
"Santa baby, I'd love to know my ass won't get grabbed at work by some ignorant jerk," she continues, while Fallon and Ronson accidentally put the ornaments in an unfortunate configuration. "Tell the dirtbag to put away the chimney tonight."

Samantha Bee presented Full Frontal’s holiday special, “Christmas on I.C.E.," this week with a brief introduction: "Your hearts are going to swell with good will toward your fellow humans if it is the last fucking thing I do."
Bee transformed New York's PlayStation Theater into a winter wonderland, complete with a real ice rink, "Abolish I.C.E." skaters and commentary from Olympian and U.S. national figure skating champion Adam Rippon. The special, Bee explained, was "the only guide to fighting the excesses of Immigration and Customs Enforcement that’s also an ice show."
She kicked off the special with a group of ice-dancing Samantha Bees and a black-and-white holiday special parody as "Mrs. Samantha Tony Kurtis Cary Grant Bette Davis Bee."

Later, Rippon and Bee provided commentary as the "Abolish I.C.E. skaters" and Bee's husband, Jason Jones, acted out ways to fight back against I.C.E.
Patton Oswalt, Jeff Goldblum, Jon Stewart, Brooke Shields, Molly Ringwald, Ana Gasteyer and other stars made appearances throughout the show, including an egg nog-themed '80s holiday song.

Lin-Manuel Miranda and Jimmy Fallon took some of 2018's biggest hits and gave them holiday twists on Monday's Tonight Show.
The duo took on Camila Cabello's "Havana:" "Mall Santa, ho ho ho. His breath is reeking like Jack Daniel's, ho ho ho. Holding a beer and a Mylanta, ho ho ho," they sang.
They also spoofed Maroon 5's "Girls Like You," Migos' "Stir Fry," Post Malone's "Better Now," they even sang about spinning a dreidel to the beat of Zedd, Grey and Maren Morris' hit "The Middle."
Fallon then made his way to a fireplace to sing a parody of Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line's "Meant to Be" about the Elf on the Shelf. "Baby, lay on back and relax. There's a little elf hiding in the back," he sang in an alto tone. Miranda added, "Pay attention to how you act. Elf on the Shelf is watching that."

Later during the appearance, Miranda and Fallon spoke about the Mary Poppins Returns star's highlights from 2018. The host listed off Miranda's many accomplishments, including winning a Grammy, getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and earning a Golden Globe nomination.
"You're forgetting the most important thing I did this year," said Miranda before he shared that the "highlight" of the year was his and Fallon's "Two Goats in a Boat" video.
To celebrate the upcoming Christmas holiday, Tonight Show's Jimmy Fallon enlisted help from Saturday Night Live alums Horatio Sanz, Tracy Morgan and Chris Kattan to re-create their performance of "I Wish It Was Christmas Today" on Tuesday's show. The comedians first performed the song during a broadcast of SNL more than a decade ago.
Ariana Grande even had a (silent) part in the performance.
Wearing their best holiday attire, Fallon and Sanz sang the tune and played their instruments while Kattan, Morgan and Grande swayed along. Morgan also re-created his signature moves from the original performance.
