Meaning behind Taylor Swift’s Kansas City Chiefs jacket – KCTV 5

LAS VEGAS (KCTV) – Everyone knows Taylor Swift’s “Karma” is Travis Kelce, the guy on the Chiefs.
After flying halfway around the world to make Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, many fans expected Swift to wear something supporting No. 87. It turns out the superstar decided to sport a different number.
Video showed Swift arriving at Allegiant Stadium with her mom. She then walked inside with rapper Ice Spice and actress Blake Lively.
Swift dressed in all black and carried a red and white jacket over her shoulder. Instead of 87, the jacket had No. 60 on the back of it. WEAR by Erin Andrews created the bomber jacket. It sells online for $130.
The jacket is a nod to the birth of the franchise Swift now supports.
Founded in 1960, the team originally played as the Dallas Texans. In 1963 Lamar Hunt moved the team from Dallas to Kansas City and renamed it the Kansas City Chiefs.
Swift also showed support for Kelce. She carried a purse in the shape of a football with the number 87 on it.
