Taylor Swift accepts the Best Pop Vocal Album award for “Midnights” during the 66th Grammy Awards
Taylor Swift just scored her 13th Grammy, for Best Pop Vocal Album, and celebrated her favorite number by delivering some big news.
An album of all new material, The Tortured Poets Department, drops April 19.
Swift picked up the album trophy for Midnights, in a competitive category with Ed Sheeran (Subtract), Kelly Clarkson (Chemistry), Miley Cyrus (Endless Summer Vacation) and Olivia Rodrigo (Guts).
She was up for a total of six awards, including Album of the Year—which if she wins would deliver her a record-setting four wins in the category—Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Anti-Hero.” She lost in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category, for which she was nominated for “Karma,” featuring Ice Spice. SZA and Phoebe Bridgers took that trophy for “Ghost In The Machine.”
