Lady Gaga’s two-year romance and engagement with Christian Carino might have resulted in a falling out, but the award-winning singer-songwriter has fallen in love once again! Who is Lady Gaga dating, you ask?
Six months after ending her engagement with talent agent Carino, Gaga was spotted going gaga over a new man at Granville in Studio City, Los Angeles. And while he is not Bradley Cooper, he is a familiar face to Gaga and has worked with her in the past. The not-so-mystery man who might be Lady Gaga’s new boyfriend is Dan Horton.

Lady Gaga has been linked to multiple men over her career. This includes bar owner Luke Carl, and Taylor Kinney, who she dated from 2011 to 2016. Her future husband became an ex-fiancee during the filming of her documentary Lady Gaga: Five Foot Two.
Then there was Christian Carino, her talent agent, to whom she was engaged in the summer of 2017, according to Us Weekly Magazine. a source revealed her relationship ended with Carino because of the talent agent’s problems with jealousy. Jeremy Renner, who starred as Hawkeye in The Avengers, became one of the star’s main support systems “in the weeks after [the relationship] ended”.
Gaga was also briefly linked to her A Star is Born co-star Bradley Cooper. The Cooper-Gaga romance rumours began circulating after a particularly steamy Oscars performance of their song “Shallow”.
In an interview with Elle, Gaga commented on the rumour, saying, “Quite frankly, I think the press is very silly. I mean, we made a love story. For me, as a performer and as an actress, of course we wanted people to believe that we were in love.”
“We wanted people to feel that love at the Oscars. We wanted it to go right through the lens of that camera and to every television that it was being watched on,” she adds. “And we worked hard on it, we worked for days. We mapped the whole thing out—it was orchestrated as a performance.”
According to an exclusive article published by People, Lady Gaga and Dan Horton were seen out on a brunch date at Granville restaurant, Gaga bending toward a sitting Dan for a kiss, her arms around her man.
“[S]he had a table in the front near the sidewalk, so she was clearly okay with being seen,” the diner said according told People. “She seemed very happy when interacting with the guy she was with.”
In 2018, Horton and actress Autumn Guzzardi, who appeared in popular television series such as Law & Order and Elementary, divorced after a five-year marriage. An article by Cosmopolitan says the actress might have referenced Gaga in a recent Instagram post with the caption ‘Poker Face’, which was Lady Gaga’s first hit single.
Horton has worked with A-list artists such as Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, and Camila Cabello. In fact, he even worked with Gaga herself before her Enigma residency show. On his LinkedIn, the predominant job title displayed is “monitor engineer”. He also owns an acoustical consulting firm called Audio Engineering Consulting Group.
Dan Horton posted hints that he was working on some music on an Instagram story. He deleted it quickly, but eagle-eyed fans managed to capture screenshots – and they speculated that he was working on Gaga’s new album.
Another clue was when Jerry Harvey Audio, a company that manufactures in-ear monitors, shared a post on Instagram in March. The photo was attributed to none other than Horton himself. The caption read: “Who’s excited for @ladygaga and #LG6 ? Here are a few of her JH16 IEMs.”
Also, according to a source who communicated with Entertainment Tonight, Gaga and Horton spent hours together working on new music, which perhaps contributed to the attraction that eventually developed between the two.
“They’re working very closely together at a home studio in Hollywood, and sparks just started flying,” the source said. “People noticed the chemistry early on, and now that she has taken some time to herself, she finally feels free to date. They seem like a pretty good match.”
While this may not be the love story that A Star is Born fans and the general public expected to unfold, Gaga appeared to be comfortable and happy with her new love interest. That is until the two broke up in October of this year.
Gaga announced her singlehood with an Instagram picture. One picture, taken at her friend’s bachelorette party, was captioned, “An about to be married woman and me, a single lady.”
An Us Weekly source claimed that the reason for their breakup was because Horton was ‘too immature’ for the musical legend. Good news for Gaga fans though – she’s open and ready to date again.
