It's official: Taylor Swift is in love. The 34-year-old singer has made her new relationship with NFL player, Travis Kelce, very public after attending a string of public events together – and the internet cannot get enough. But who is Travis Kelce? Here's everything you need to know about the american football player, and how he managed to woo the world's favourite superstar.
News of the couple first came after Travis tried (and failed) to shoot his shot at one of Taylor’s concerts. The athlete revealed that he had come prepared with a bunch of Eras-tour friendship bracelets, including one with his phone number on it that he’d intended to give to the popstar.
Sharing that he was 'a little butt hurt' at not being able to get some one-on-one time with the star, Travis then did the only thing that an athlete could do – invite Taylor to see him shine on his own stage, NFL style.
He shared, ‘I threw the ball in her court. I said, “I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead, you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead, and see which one’s a little more lit.” We’ll see what happens in the near future.’
Travis Kelce is an American football tight end (an offensive position) who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs as part of the National Football League.
He’s been playing with the Kansas City Chiefs since 2013 and has won two Super Bowls (in 2019 and 2022) with them.
According to the internet – as we said, we know nothing about American football – he’s considered one of the greatest tight ends of all time.

According to CBS Sport, both Jason and Travis will be heading to the Hall of Fame once their careers are over.

It looks like there’s a lot of money in American football because as of 2023 Travis apparently earns a yearly base salary of $11,250,000 which doesn’t even being in to include all the added extras that come with the role. It’s estimated that the player’s networth is around $30 million (£24.5 million).
