Recording artist Lady Gaga is under fire for promoting trans activist Dylan Mulvaney in honor of International Women’s Day on Friday.
The 37-year-old singer posed with Mulvaney for a series of snapshots and in a video where Gaga can be heard saying, “I’m putting you on my vision board, for life,” and Mulvaney, a man who identifies as a transgender woman, replying, “I love you.”
“Put this on your vision board,” Gaga says again.

Per The Daily Mail, the duo seems to be doing a photo shoot for Haus Labs, Lady Gaga’s cosmetic brand, and the pharmaceutical company Clinuvel.
The comments were flooded with followers annoyed that a man was being featured on a day devoted to women.
“Isn’t womens day for women? Lol just another case of some.. creep male trying to take one more thing from women,” one commenter shared on Instagram.
“This is so degrading to REAL women,” a second account commented.
“Why’s Dylan representing. He’s ‘NOT’ a woman. What an insult to us ‘REAL’ women. Quit invading our territory,” a third agreed.
Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, has been an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ people for years. During a 2017 interview with Out Magazine, she said, “When I started in the mainstream it was the gays that lifted me up. I committed myself to them and they committed themselves to me, and because of the gay community I’m where I am today.”
“I very much want to inject gay culture into the mainstream,” the “Bad Romance” singer added. “It’s not an underground tool for me. It’s my whole life. So I always sort of joke the real motivation is to just turn the world gay.”
Mulvaney, meanwhile, became famous after creating the TikTok series “Days of Girlhood” to document his “transition” from a man to a woman.

Mulvaney became nationally known after taking part in a promotion for the beer brand Bud Light last April. Its parent company, Anheuser-Busch, is estimated to have lost more than one billion dollars in sales after boycotts from conservatives over its partnership with the trans-identifying influencer.
