Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior working royals in 2020, with the couple moving to Montecito, California shortly after.
Since stepping down from the royal family, the couple have set up lives for themselves and their two children in the States, with the Sussexes even striking up partnerships with various companies and working on several exciting projects.
Harry and Meghan have worked with the likes of Spotify and Netflix since they stepped down as senior members of the monarchy, with the couple releasing a now-axed podcast, a scathing docuseries, and a tell-all memoir. But despite the couple speaking out about their time in the royal family, which has since seen them embroiled in controversy, some of their longtime friends have stuck by them through it all.

Five high-profile pals of the Sussexes have remained close to the couple, with these famous faces being Ellen DeGeneres, Serena Williams, Beyoncé, Tyler Perry, and Michael Bublé.
Harry and Meghan have long been friends with chat show host, Ellen and her wife, actress Portia de Rossie. The Sussexes' home is in the same neighborhood as Ellen's, and earlier this year it was revealed that the Sussexes even adopted one of Ellen’s chickens.
The couple are also close to tennis icon Serena Williams, whom Meghan met at a Super Bowl party in 2010, as per reports. The Duchess has since supported her pal at Wimbledon, and even had her appear on her Archetypes podcast before it came to an end last year.
The Sussexes are also pals with Beyoncé and her rapper husband, Jay-Z. In the couple's Netflix docuseries, which came out in 2022, they revealed that the singing sensation sent Meghan a text after the couple's televised interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Tyler Perry is another of the Sussexes' pals, with the filmmaker even the goddaughter of their daughter, Lilibet. Not only this, but Harry and Meghan went on to stay in Tyler's house when they announced their departure from the royal family in 2020, prior to their move to Montecito.
And the fifth celebrity who has stuck by the Sussexes' side through it all is Michael Bublé, who was recently seen in Canada with the Duke and Duchess. The royal couple were seen with the famous Canadian singer and his wife Luisana Lopilato at the Invictus Games One Year to Go celebration in Canada just the other week.
Meghan and Luisana are said to have struck up a friendship after meeting at a dinner hosted by the Duchess' close friend Jessica Mulroney. This was around the time that Meghan was in Suits, according to various reports.
