She has not actually chosen to leave behind her successful music career.
Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, or Cardi B as she’s known to the masses, has taken over the entertainment world since releasing her iconic track, ‘Bodak Yellow’.
Since then she’s released many hits, collaborated with some of the biggest musical icons, and even caused some controversy.

But some Cardi B-related news a lot of us had not expected was a South African doppelgänger.
TikTok user @vincekhalill2 recently uploaded a video that has caused many people to do a double take as the woman in the video seems to very closely resemble the singer.

No one knows the location of this unknown woman but she can be seen working in a local Spar store.

In typical SA fashion, the responses to the video have been good-natured and humourous.
One commentator responded to the video by saying: “She’s even more beautiful than Cardi B. African woman that one 🌹🌹🌹”.
