The concert movie “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” will debut on streaming services on Wednesday, Dec. 13.
Taylor Swift’s blockbuster concert movie, “The Eras Tour,” is set to make its debut in living rooms across North America next month.
The Grammy-winning artist revealed that an extended version of the film will be “available to rent on demand,” beginning on Dec. 13, coinciding with her 34th birthday.
“Hi! Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home!” Swift wrote in social media posts Monday, Nov. 27.

The extended edition of the film, already boasting an impressive run time of 2 hours and 49 minutes, includes three additional performances not featured in the theatrical release: “Long Live,” “The Archer” and “Wildest Dreams.”
Swift treated her fans to a sneak peek Monday with a minute-long clip showcasing a performance of the latter track.

“What a truly mind blowing thing you’ve turned The Eras Tour Concert Film into,” she said on Instagram. “I’ve been watching videos of you guys in the theaters dancing and prancing and recreating choreography, creating inside jokes, casting spells, getting engaged, and just generally creating the exact type of joyful chaos we’re known for 😇.”
The global pop sensation made the announcement the day after she wrapped up the final “Eras Tour” date of 2023 in Brazil on Sunday, Nov. 26. During the “surprise songs” segment of the concert, she premiered “Say Don’t Go,” a previously unreleased track from the “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” vault, and “It’s Time to Go,” featured in the deluxe release of “Evermore.”

Swift described the tour as “the most magical adventure of my life.”

“This tour is something that I thought of because I really wanted to celebrate all the times you guys have been there for me,” she added. “I love traveling through these memories with you.”
Swift is set to resume the Eras Tour in February, with dates through Asia and Australia. The tour’s next leg will then take her to Europe and the U.K., commencing in May and extending through much of the summer. The grand finale is slated for October and November, with a series of shows in the U.S. and Canada.

Before “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” comes to video on demand services, Bay Area fans can catch it for one night only at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco. The venue, which seats 1,400, is set to screen it on Sunday, Dec. 10.
The movie, filmed during Swift’s performances at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood (Los Angeles County) in August, is the 11th highest-grossing domestic film of 2023, pulling in more than $175 million since its release on Oct. 12.

The singer’s sold-out concerts at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on July 28 and 29 drew about 58,000 each night.
