Joker: Folie à Deux is all set to debut on October 4, 2024, which is exactly five years after the original film debuted.
Filmmaker Todd Phillips has unveiled fresh new photos of Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix in the upcoming sequel film Joker: Folie à Deux. Rising the excitement amongst the fans of the characters, the director shared three images and piqued the interest of the fans who have been eagerly awaiting an update.
Posted on Todd Phillips’ official Instagram, the three new photos give a glimpse into Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaya’s costumes as Joker and Harley Quinn get cozy. In one of the images, Joker is behind bars as Harley visits. Another one pays tribute to Alex Ross’ classic artwork of Harley and the Joker dancing and enjoying.

Previously, before Christmas 2023, Todd Phillips unveiled new photos of Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix. He shared photos of Arthur Fleck in Arkham Asylum. The first shows Fleck behind bars, hinting at the upcoming confinement in the sequel. The second photo showcases Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn gazing affectionately at Joker, which sets the tone for the complicated love story between the two characters. The sequel will explore the relationship between Joker and his psychiatrist, Dr. Harleen Quinzel who he meets at the Arkham Asylum.
