Could one of the photos be teasing the Clown Prince and Harley Quinn's "meet cute" moment?

Valentine’s Day might be over, but love is still in the air with a trio of new images from Joker: Folie à Deux. The photos include Arthur Fleck and Harley Quinn with their noses squished together as the former stands behind bars. It’s possible this is the couple’s “meet cute” moment in the sequel.
Director Todd Phillips shared the three images on Instagram, adding that he hopes “your day is full of love.” The first photo has Fleck in his full Joker getup, standing next to Quinn. The last one has the couple dancing together on a rooftop. It’s shot in black and white, with a stage-like background and a huge fake moon.

The black-and-white still looks like it’s a possible musical number for Joker 2. But keep in mind that the sequel isn’t a full-on musical like it originally was rumored. In fact, last year returning star Zazie Beetz (who portrays Sophie Dumond) said, “I don’t think it’s going to be what they expect, around it being musical.”
Joker 2 started filming in December 2022, with Phillips revealing a photo of Fleck getting a shave at the time. The director also unveiled new images of the sequel when it wrapped shooting.
The movie is set to premiere October 4.
