Hidden details in Taylor Swift Super Bowl outfit, explained – Business Insider

While Travis Kelce celebrated the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory on Sunday, many people were watching his superstar girlfriend.
Taylor Swift made the 12-hour flight from Japan to Las Vegas to support Kelce and his teammates after performing in Tokyo the night before.
Swift wore a black outfit with a red Chiefs jacket and several accessories which nodded to Kelce. There was also a nod to her upcoming album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” Here are all the hidden details you missed.
Swift, Blake Lively, and Ice Spice coordinated in black, red, and white outfits as they watched from the stands. Swift’s red-and-white Chiefs jacket by Erin Andrews stood out for its sweet reference to the team’s origin story.
The jacket had the number “60” embroidered on the back, which is a nod to the Chiefs’ first season, Page Six reported.
Lamar Hunt founded the team as the Dallas Texans in 1959 and they had their first game the following year. The team was renamed the Chiefs after moving to Kansas City in 1963.
The back of the jacket can be seen clearly in a video of Swift’s arrival shared on X by the NFL.
As any Swiftie knows, her lucky number is 13. During the early years of her career, the singer would pen the number on the back of her hand ahead of shows, and she recently celebrated winning her 13th Grammy.
The number was nowhere to be seen on Sunday, and instead Swift wore Travis Kelce’s number — 87 — on multiple accessories. One of the singer’s necklaces had an “87” pendant; she also wore a Judith Leiber crystal bag and a pair of red-and-gold boots with the number, People reported.
Swift appeared to be wearing one earring with a “T” initial. She previously wore the same earring while watching the Chiefs’ match against the Las Vegas Raiders in December.
She also wore a red-and-gold diamond heart twist earring from The Last Line, People reported.
While most of the singer’s accessories celebrated Kelce and the Chiefs, her all-black outfit under the jacket could be a reference to her upcoming album.
Swift wore a black corseted crop top and a pair of $695 matching black jeans with bejeweled slits by Area, People reported.
She completed the look with a white manicure.
The black-and-white theme could be a nod to her upcoming album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which is set to be released on April 19. Swift announced the album, which has black-and-white cover art, while onstage at the 2024 Grammy Awards on February 5.
The singer wore a white Schiaparelli gown with black opera gloves to the award show. Some fans misinterpreted the outfit as a reference to the re-release of her 2017 “Reputation” album, which also had a black-and-white cover.
Swift started re-recording her albums to reclaim ownership of her music after Scooter Braun bought her first record label, Big Machine Records, making him the owner of her first six studio albums.
