Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are the it couple of the football season and many have wondered if she will be able to make it to his big game. But will Kelce make it to her big night?
Much speculation has been swirling around on whether Swift will be able to travel from 2024 Eras Tour stop in Tokyo to the Super Bowl this year, but before the NFL’s biggest game comes the Grammy Awards where Swift could make history.
Swift, a 12-time Grammy Award winner, is nominated for six more Grammys this year. She could also become the first singer to win album of the year four times.
Held a week before the Super Bowl, it looks like Kelce will not make it to the Grammy Awards to support Swift.
“I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for, but I think I’ve got practice on Sunday,” he said during an interview on “The Pat McAfee Show” Wednesday.
“Unfortunately, I’ve got to get ready for this big ole Super Bowl that we got in a week,” he added. Kelce’s team, the Kansas City Chief’s will play against the San Francisco 49rs in a rematch of last year’s Super Bowl.
Kelce’s brother Jason Kelce and Swift have solidified their friendship as they (and the others in the Kelce clan) cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs.
It is a busy time right now for the Kelce brothers, Swift’s boyfriend looks like he won’t be able to cheer her on at the Grammys because of the Super Bowl prep. Now people are wondering if his brother Jason Kelce will be around to cheer her on.
Unfortunately, Jason Kelce is a bit busy as well.
He will be on the other side of the country in Orlando, Florida, playing the Pro Bowl.
The two brothers decided to have some fun when breaking down the weekend’s conference championship games during one of the latest episodes of the “New Heights” podcast.
“Shoutout to the newest member of Chiefs Kingdom, Taylor Swift, who has officially reached the Super Bowl in her rookie year,” Jason Kelce said.
“Yeah shoutout to Tay, thanks for joining the team,” Travis added.
Swift’s influence is far and wide, and some people think it is wider than it should be.
Apparently a young, self-made billionaire, pop star that travels the world, drawing millions to her one-woman concerts at football stadiums, and that can singlehandedly boost the economic fortunes of the cities where she plays, is something that makes some people uncomfortable.
Rumors fueled by some Republicans, have portrayed Swift as some sort of Pentagon plant, created by some type of secret liberal forces to swing the 2024 presidential election.
The 2024 Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, Feb. 4, from 7 p.m. CST to 10:30 p.m.
