Every year, thousands of people make their way to Flushing Meadows for the opportunity to witness some of the greatest tennis players compete in one of the most significant tournaments of the year.
The USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center broke records over the Labor Day weekend with a stunning 502,385 fans attending the US Open. Additionally, the tournament’s first week drew in the sixth highest attendance numbers in the history of the US Open.
Some notable figures in attendance included the Obamas, Jimmy Butler, and Aaron Rodgers, who came out to support players such as Coco Gauff, Ben Shelton, Carlos Alcaraz, and Novak Djokovic as they fight for the chance to raise the US Open trophy.
The US Open Women’s Singles Final is Sept. 9 at 4 pm ET. The Men’s Singles Final is Sept. 10 at 4 pm ET.
