Taylor Swift fans have predicted a massive announcement, with many thinking that it will take place tonight in Milan.
The 34-year-old hitmaker is currently on the European leg of her Eras Tour. Travelling around Europe after a slew of sold-out shows in the UK, Taylor will wrap up the European leg in August when she performs five nights at London's Wembley Stadium after three nights at the venue last month.
Following some shows in Amsterdam and Zurich, Taylor will now take to the stage in Milan for two nights across July 13 and July 14. And with 13 being Taylor's favourite number, it's safe to say that speculation of a pending announcement is rife.
Reacting to Taylor's recent Instagram post where she thanked Zurich and told Milan how excited she was for the next shows, fans have been speculating that an announcement could be on the way. Many reckon Reputation (Taylor's Version) could be announced due to a few telling clues. One said on X, formerly Twitter: "rep tv announcement july 13 in milan i actually do believe it."
While another said: "THE POST WITH 'coming Milan [soon emoji]' will be the 661 post of Taylor. 6+6+1= 13 13th July 13th European country of the leg After 13 years." Someone else then echoed: "Not to alarm anyone buttttt 'Super excited for Milan' [and] ' Brought a lot of firsts'. Possibly the first re-record announcement of 2024??? Something is happening in Milan."
While another Swiftie on X said: "I am clowning for rep tv announcement 7/13 with release on 9/13!! The past 2 TV’s were announced ~2 months before release. Also Taylor’s latest ig post… why has she been looking forward to playing in Milan."
One fan then asked: "why is everyone saying rep tv announcement on 7/13 milan n1?" to which someone replied: "because its 2 months before september 13, a friday the 13th AND the 15th anniversary of the 2009 vmas when kanye interrupted taylor."
Another then said: "• it’s on the 13th; • milan is the 13th european city and its symbol is a [snake emoji]; • it’s exactly 2 months before september 13th which is a friday and also the 15th anniversary of the 2009 VMAs; • 13-7 = 6. Rep is her 6th studio album."
