As is always the case, Taylor Swift owns a lot of real estate on Billboard’s albums charts this week. The superstar regularly fills more spaces than most other artists on a variety of the company’s album-focused rosters in America. This time around, only one of her releases manages to rise on every ranking it appears on, while all the others fall on at least one list.
Folklore is gaining ground on a trio of Billboard charts this frame. The Grammy winner improves on the Billboard 200, shooting from No. 48 to No. 46 on the list of the most-consumed full-lengths in the country.
At the same time, Folklore is also up on both the Top Rock & Alternative Albums and Top Rock Albums charts. The 2020 surprise drop pushes to No. 11 on the former, and it re-enters the top five on the latter, settling at No. 5.
Swift has nine other titles that can be found on at least two charts, as well as another that’s present on just a single tally. Her collections usually sell and stream well enough to appear on several lists, especially if they’re not categorized as pop, as then they’re also eligible for either country or rock rankings.
Only one other release by Swift manages to climb on more than just a single chart. Evermore, which followed Folklore by only a few months and which also arrived with little warning, steps up on two of the three tallies it appears on this frame.
That Grammy-nominated effort pushes from No. 116 to No. 109 on the Billboard 200. It’s also on the rise on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart, where it lifts one rung to No. 30. The same title is a non-mover at No. 15 on the more specific Top Alternative Albums ranking.
Swift’s only other album that’s rising does so on the single chart it’s found on–and it’s the only title that’s located on just one tally. Reputation surges from No. 58 to No. 50, returning to the highest quarter of the Billboard 200. It does so as it celebrates 300 weeks on that competitive roster.
