Lady Gaga Sings 'Americano' for First Time Since 2013 at Residency – Rolling Stone

Lady Gaga just brought back a Born This Way deep-cut at her Jazz & Piano — and her Little Monsters are freaking out about it! During the opening night of her residency’s reprise at Park MGM, Gaga performed “Americano” for the first time since 2013.
Dressed in a crimson dress, Gaga performed a jazz rendition of the Born This Way favorite that hears her sing in Spanglish. “Todos los chicos (Chicas), y los chicos (Chicas)/Se están besando,” she sang en español.
Wednesday marked her first performance of her Park MGM Jazz & Piano residency since October 2023. She also debuted a black-and-white hairstyle reminiscent of her Born This Way days. When a fan pointed out her “Born This Way hair,” she replied “Oop! Somebody noticed.
During her set, the singer reimagines some of her greatest hits such as “Bad Romance,” “Born This Way,” and “Paparazzi” in jazzy or piano-backed versions. She also plays numerous covers of jazz standards and the Great American songbook, including “Fly Me to the Moon.”

Gaga is set to play seven more shows of her Vegas engagement throughout the end of the month and the beginning of July with performances on June 27, 29, 30, and around the July 4 holiday on July 3, 5, and 6.
Gaga debuted her “Jazz and Piano” show back in early 2019 when she first arrived in Las Vegas. Gaga first paired the “Jazz and Piano” shows with her “Enigma” concert residency, where she embraced the over-the-top extravagance she’s known for.

The Vegas shows come just weeks after she premiered her Gaga Chromatica Ball, a film celebration of her massive tour in celebration of Chromatica, and shared that she was “in the studio every single day” working on LG7. (During Tuesday’s show, she responded “Not tonight!” when a fan mentioned the upcoming album.)
“I have written so many songs, I’ve been producing so many songs, and it’s nothing like anything that I’ve ever made before,” she said during a Q&A with Access Hollywood‘s Scott Evans ahead of the film’s screening. “I love to break genre and I love to explore music. There’s something really beautiful about knowing that you will be loved no matter what you do.”
