Washington Scored 3 of the Top 100 Celebrity Shrines To Visit – newstalkkit.com

There are very few "Celebrity Pilgrimage Sites" that I would visit.
In fact, the last one that I visited because I really wanted to see was the celebration that honored the late great Adam West.
The O.G. Batman from 1966 grew up in Walla Walla, Washington, and in September, the town honors The Bright Knight by holding Adam West Days!

Since the first celebration in 2017, I've been fortunate to go 4 out of the 6 years (2020 canceled due to the pandemic).
Sadly for my fandom, Adam West was not on the list of top celebrity pilgrimages. But Washington's favorite son, Kurt Cobain, is!
In fact, out of all the celebrities in the United States that people would take a trek to visit a memorial to their greatness, the late Nirvana lead singer ranked at #3!
According to Tarotoo.com, who quizzed 3,000 Americans to "determine the ultimate (deceased) celebrity landmarks to visit." They now know the top 10 in the United States.
Beating out the Godfather of Grunge is the King of Rock n Roll, Elvis Presley's Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, and the Presidential Library and Museum of Abraham Lincoln in Springfield, Illinois.

The Kurt Cobain Memorial in Aberdeen, Washington, took 3rd place.
It is complete with a granite guitar sculpture, plaques with lyrics, and tributes from fans.

Rounding out the top 5 were the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, honoring the iconic Wizard of Oz actress, and the museum of the late great country music star Patsy Cline in Nashville, Tennessee.

Washington scored two more shinning shrines out of the top 100 celebrity sites.
Ranking at #17, the grave sites of Bruce Lee and his son Brandon Lee. Their final resting place is located at Lake View Cemetery in Seattle, WA.
And the Jimi Hendrix grave at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton, Washington, coming in at #55.
