Taylor Kinney is known for portraying Lieutenant Kelly Severide on Chicago Fire. But in the last few years, his name has become synonymous with his ex-fiance, Lady Gaga. She’s moved on with a new man, but is Taylor Kinney dating anyone new?
Kinney is an American actor who’s been in working on TV and films for a decade. One of his first notable roles was on the soap opera, Fashion House, in which he played the main character, Luke Gianni. He was also a regular on the NBC medical drama, Trauma.
The 38-year-old has been on a number of other popular TV shows over the years, including The Vampire Diaries, Shameless, Castle, Rizzoli & Isles, and CSI: NY. His film credits include blockbuster films like Zero Dark Thirty, The Other Woman, Rock the Kasbah, and Here and Now.

Currently, Kinney plays the recurring role of Lieutenant Kelly Severide on Chicago Fire and it’s sister series, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med.
In 2011, Kinney met Lady Gaga on the set of her music video for “You and I,” in which he was cast as the lead. In an interview with Watch What Happens Live’s Andy Cohen, the actor said the two had a connection from the start.
“We had a good time, I think there was chemistry,” Kinney said. “I remember it was a late shoot. We were shooting until 4 or 5 in the morning or something like that. We exchanged information. A few weeks went by and we kept in touch, and then that’s that.”
Kinney and Gaga dated for three years and then got engaged in 2015. However, a year into their engagement the couple decided to call it quits. When talking to Howard Stern on his radio show in 2016, Gaga had nothing but nice things to say about her ex.
“It’s just about life changes,” said Gaga. “And we all go through different stages and we’re focused on different things — To be fair, I think that Taylor’s pretty f–king cool that over the years, no matter what creative transformation that I’ve gone through, he’s always been very supportive of that and loving.”
Ever since his break up with Gaga, Kinney has been pretty quiet about his relationships. But for the most part, he seems to have moved on. In fact, in a recent Instagram post, the actor shared a video of himself dancing romantically with a new mystery woman while quarantined at home.

“Stay safe,” he captioned the video. “Find ways to be connected. Listen to music and read ya some HST. Here’s to a good time.”
Considering how private Kinney has been about his love life, this video may indicate he’s ready to share details of a new relationship with the world. He didn’t identify the woman in the video, but after seeing how close the two are getting in the Instagram post, there’s a chance he’ll share more about her in the future.
