Matty Healy has got engaged to model Gabbriette Bechtel and his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift is yet to congratulate the happy couple.
Gabbriette shocked fans as she shared the happy news on Instagram, posting a picture of her black diamond engagement ring with the caption: "MARRYING THE 1975 IS VERY BRAT." Matty then re-shared the picture on his own account.
The engagement comes following Matty's whirlwind romance with Taylor. The pair split last summer after just one month of dating, despite rumours Matty was ready to settle down with the pop icon.

While many people have offered their congratulations to Matty and Gabbriette, Taylor has stayed silent. The Bad Blood hitmaker is currently in the middle of her UK Eras Tour shows and is getting ready to perform in Liverpool on June 13.
Taylor recently performed in Edinburgh and her last Instagram post is her showing her appreciation for her fans. Sharing a series of snaps from the concerts, she wrote: "Edinburgh!!! You truly blew me away this weekend.
"Thank you for breaking the all-time attendance record for a stadium show in Scotland 3 times in a row and for all the ways you made us feel right at home. Love you, all 220,000 of you!!!"

Taylor opened up about her relationship with Matty on her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. In But Daddy I Love Him, which many believe is about Matty, Taylor sings about her "wild boy" and how he's "crazy but he's the one I want".
However, she also seemingly called him out in The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived. In the track, Taylor details a "starry-eyed" Jehovah's Witness-suited lover who "rusted a sparkling summer" by "ghosting" her.
Since the news of Matty's engagement went public, his mum Denise Welch has shared her delight, insisting Gabbriette is everything she wants in a daughter-in-law. Denise said: "I have known for a few weeks that Matty got engaged. They went over to see their friends Charli and George in New York. I woke up this morning to the fact they’ve put it on Instagram.
"Instagram official, he has got engaged to Gabbriette. Black diamond, he had it made for her and I couldn’t be more thrilled. She is from Los Angeles, she is absolutely gorgeous, she does have a rat. We couldn't be happier, she is everything that I would want in a daughter in law."
