Lady Gaga was spotted in York over the weekend.
The pop superstar was in town to attend her sister’s wedding at the ViewPoint Hotel on Nubble Road on Saturday, according to the Portsmouth Herald.
Gaga, whose name is Stefani Germanotta, was the maid of honor. Her family rented the entire hotel, which overlooks the Nubble Lighthouse, for the ceremony, the Herald reported.
While in town, Gaga stopped for ice cream on Friday and Sunday at Dunne’s Ice Cream, across the road from the ViewPoint. Gaga got a small chocolate walnut, according to the newspaper.
Steve Dunne, the ice cream stand’s owner, told the Herald that Gaga appreciated she could be a “normal person” in York.
