“Swifties” get ready because on night one of the 2024 Big E, the fair will celebrate the music of Taylor Swift with a tribute performance on the Court of Honor Stage.
The Big E recently announced its 2024 Court of Honor Stage music and variety act lineup, and this year it’s getting in on the singer’s megastardom with “Let’s Sing Taylor — A Live Band Experience” from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13.
Billed as the “ultimate tribute to the music of Taylor Swift,” according to The Big E, the act offers “the most faithful and lively covers” of Swift’s expansive music catalog.”
Fans of Swift will be encouraged to “sing your hearts out and sport your Taylor-inspired attire” during the performance.
The cover band performs across the U.S. If Swifties can’t wait until the fall to see the band, “Let’s Sing Taylor” has performances slated for Friday, June 21 in Hyannis and Saturday, June 22 in Cohasset as well as a show just after The Big E on Saturday, Sept. 14 in Lowell, according to its website.
Swift, whose latest albums “The Tortured Poets Department” and “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology” debuted in April, is performing on her the “Eras Tour” in Europe through June.
The singer won two Grammy Awards for her previous album “Midnights” in February for best “Best Pop Vocal Album” and “Album of the Year,” a feat making her the only person to have won the latter award four times. She now has 14 Grammy Awards.
For the “Let’s Sing Taylor” performance, The Court of Honor Stage is located at the heart of the fairgrounds in front of the Coliseum at the Eastern States Exposition.
The performances on the Court of Honor Stage come with the price of admission to the fair, according to The Big E, meaning guests do not have to pay more to see these acts. However, seating is prioritized on a first-come, first-served basis, the Big E added.
The 2024 Big E will run from Friday, Sept. 13 through Sunday, Sept. 29 of this year in West Springfield.
There will also be a host of headliner performances throughout the fair’s run this fall at the Big E Arena including Ludacris, Big Time Rush, Umphrey’s McGee, Brothers Osborne, and Diplo.
The Big E has also announced the 43-act lineup for The E Stage, which showcases “emerging artists dedicated to creating original music.”
