She wore a black suit with a white top, adding her unique touch with kitenge fabric sewn into the coat's arms and a pleated section of the trousers.
Her look was completed with chunky earrings and red high heels.
It is worth noting that the actress also attended a luncheon hosted by US Vice President Kamala Harris and even had a photo op moment with the US leader.
For the luncheon, Kate wore a simple, long church dress with a bottleneck design and pleated skirt.
She tied it all together with a simple black belt and black heels.
Idah Alisha, Kate's best friend and fellow actress, accompanied her to the White House.
Idah chose a pink coat over a black top and a multi-coloured skirt, accessorizing with chunky earrings, gold wrist accessories, and a striking gold and black neckpiece.

She wore a white two-piece outfit with an attached cape and a black turtleneck underneath.
Vivian accessorized the look with a long, chunky neckpiece and simple earrings.
Among the political figures, Kirinyaga County Governor Anne Waiguru stood out at the state dinner.
She wore an elegant emerald green dress featuring gold details on the chest and waist.

On his end, Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwah departed from his usual suits, opting for a dashing black tuxedo with a white shirt and black bowtie.
Finally, President William Ruto, the man of the hour, did not disappoint.
Ruto matched his US counterpart, President Joe Biden, in a classic black tuxedo, white shirt, black bowtie, and black shoes.
First Lady Rachel Ruto complemented him in a stunning gold and black dress with a peplum-like ruffled detail at the waist and a lace ruffle from the knee down on the right side.
