Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton were on their feet throughout Lady Gaga‘s set at the former President’s belated birthday celebration Saturday night in Los Angeles, where the singer’s behavior made a definite impression.
Gaga’s banter between songs during her performance at A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation included sexual innuendos about Clinton, and at one point she dropped the F-bomb in front of the Hollywood Bowl’s capacity crowd and a Yahoo live stream.

Before launching into her song “Bad Romance,” the woman born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta told the crowd, “I’m 25 and just four years ago I was living in a teeny tiny apartment in New York, praying every day that just one person would believe in me. So I guess you can say that in some kind of weird and twisted New York kind of way, I love the American dream.
“It just takes one person to believe in you. So tonight I just thought we’d all get caught up in a little Bill romance.”

Gaga continued to switch up lyrics to the song to include the Clintons and at one point, she took to the catwalk to dance suggestively in front of the former first family. She declared “I love you and your hot wife” at the end of the tune, and there were some audible gasps at her behavior around an ex president, who was seated next to his wife, the current Secretary of State.

At the piano before an amended version of “You and I,” Gaga addressed the former President directly, raising her middle finger as she declared, “If someone had told me so many years ago that I’d be doing that right in front of you I just would not believe. I would have given a good American f**k you.”

She sang, “It’s been 12 years since you came around. It’s been a long time but you’re back in town. This time I’m not leaving without you. So Hillary and Bill, sit back down where you belong in the oval office with those high heels on, sit back down on the couch where we watched you charm the whole world and the country.
“Somewhere, something about this place, somewhere about [sic] American eyes when a Clinton makes us all feel safe. Somewhere something about a cool, Arkansas guy, yes, something about — Hilary, Billary, that’s your new celebrity name — to the Clintons, you and I.”

Gaga’s performance was part of a concert raising money and awareness for Clinton’s charitable organization. Kenny Chesney, Bono, and Stevie Wonder also took the stage at a event attended by Universal’s Ron Meyer, Steve Bing, Ellen DeGeneres, Joni Mitchell, Jane Fonda and scores of other industry figures.
On Oct. 14, Fonda, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, Patricia Arquette and Chevy Chase attended the Clinton Foundation’s Decade of Difference dinner at the Hollywood Palladium.
