FANS of pop icon Taylor Swift have pleaded with her boyfriend Travis Kelce to speak out about comments made by one of his Kansas City Chiefs teammates.
Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, 28, went viral after giving a commencement address at Benedictine College, Kansas, last weekend.
Butker spoke out against Pride month and criticized President Biden’s leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic in the speech, per AP.
The NFL star also made reference to abortion rights and working women in his address to the Catholic private arts college.
"It is safe to say that over the years, I have gained quite the reputation for speaking my mind," Butker began his speech, per PEOPLE.
"Things like abortion, IVF, surrogacy, euthanasia, as well as a growing support for degenerative cultural values in media all stem from the pervasiveness of disorder," he added.
Butker also made reference to Swift in his speech, quoting lyrics from her hit song 2022 Bejeweled.
"As my teammate's girlfriend says, 'Familiarity breeds contempt'," he added.
Butker and tight end Kelce have been teammates at Arrowhead Stadium since 2017.
They have won three Super Bowl titles together, most recently in February's showpiece in Las Vegas.
The Chiefs have declined to comment on the commencement address, per the AP report.
But that hasn't stopped some Swifties from lobbying Kelce to speak out.
And some have even wanted Butker "banned from the NFL," per PinkVilla.
"I’m waiting for players to actually speak out…." wrote one Swift fan on X.
"I’ll let the Swifties handle Harrison Butker," said another.
"Has Butker met Taylor Swift? It's gonna be weird in the Chiefs locker room," raged a third.
Pop princess Swift and Kelce went public with their relationship last summer.

Speaking to The U.S. Sun, the psychic claimed Kelce will soon propose to music megastar girlfriend Taylor Swift.
But she also predicted both would eventually be married twice.

“I see the relationship moving forward, and I see it moving towards that next level.
“The difficulty is that I see two life paths for them and two rings – I see two marriages there for both of them."
The 34-year-old star attended Chiefs games throughout the regular season.
And she celebrated with Kelce on the Allegiant Stadium field as Kansas City secured a dramatic overtime win against the San Francisco 49ers.
Butker was the NFL scoring leader in 2019 and played all 17 games of the Chiefs regular season in 2023.
He has a long field-goal record of 62 yards and has hit 89.1 percent of his FG attempts since entering the league.
A former seventh-round pick, the Georgia native played three years for Georgia Tech in college.
Ranked among the top kickers in the NFL, Butker has earned $18,143,979 since entering the league, per Spotrac.
He penned a five-year, $20.2 million deal with the Chiefs in 2019.
