Lando Norris is one driver that loves to live the lifestyle of an F1 driver. After his first race win, even more so. He is often seen with high-profile celebrities and parties hard with them. One such example was of him celebrating the Koningsdag (King’s Day) in Amsterdam with Martin Garrix. But the Dutch DJ is not the only A-list celebrity that Lando Norris has the number of.
Following his Miami Grand Prix victory, the McLaren driver was at dinner when he was introduced to Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs National Football League player. That’s when the conversation took a ‘Swift’ turn to talk about scoring free concert tickets. We are talking about Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift tickets of course! So what really happened?

Lando Norris was celebrating his victory and so was the whole McLaren team. They hosted a celebratory dinner for the Grand Prix winner where several American athletes made an appearance. This included Lebron James and Kevin Durant from the NBA and Tyreek Hill, Patrick Mahomes, and Travis Kelce from the NFL. During dinner, Norris was introduced to Kelce, and their conversation was brought to light on Radio 1 Breakfast with Greg James.

Day after the GP win and dinner, Greg James had Norris over at his radio show where he asked him about the events of that night. The Radio 1 Breakfast host showed the McLaren driver a picture of Travis Kelce and asked him about his interaction with Taylor Swift’s NFL boyfriend.

Norris revealed, “he was an awesome guy! About double my height but he’s straight up and he was a legend, and very sweet, we exchanged numbers hopefully I can get to a game one day.” To this James prompted, “Or a Taylor Swift concert!” And Norris agreed.
Then, Norris jokingly stated that he wouldn’t use Kelce for tickets as he would have to warm up to him for that. James continued the joke and suggested that Norris should offer Kelce Grand Prix passes in exchange for Taylor Swift concert tickets.
This is when Norris revealed his master plan to score the tickets saying, “Oh, and by the way, my sisters [would love to attend Taylor Swift]! but I’d need to go with my sisters, yeah that kinda thing.” The Briton driver jokingly mentioned that he would use the excuse of his sisters wanting to attend a Taylor Swift concert.
We know Norris has his way into the music scene, and while we wait for him to attend a Taylor Swift concert, let’s talk about what happened with him in Amsterdam before the Miami Grand Prix.
Lando Norris broke his nose, and the world thought it was Martin Garrix’s fault. So while Norris was partying for King’s Day in Amsterdam, he got a cut on his nose which resulted in him bleeding quite a bit. As they were on a boat, there was no proper first aid which led people to wrap his face like a mummy with a bandaid. An opportunist put this picture up online and it went viral, leaving everyone scratching their heads about how this happened.

Martin Garrix was later invited to Virgin Radio Dubai 104.4 where he was asked how Norris got the scar and that’s when the DJ revealed the truth. “It’s kind of a buzz kill, cause everybody made it crazier than it was.” He then explained that Norris was drinking from a glass that was slightly cut on the top. Garrix then stated, “We were partying, and having a good time, and then he takes a sip from the glass, and the upper half gave him a little cut in the nose.”

The Dutch DJ then explained that people thought that he broke Norris’ nose, and he then cleared out the viral picture online. He explained, “We had like bandaid to put on his nose, but then very quickly turn into like a mummy, and then someone took a photo and that photo went viral.”
