The Eras Tour is finally landing in Europe – here’s all the essential info on the pop queen’s first shows in Paris
Swifties in Paris, time to get excited: the Eras Tour is just around the corner.
After a two-month break and a new album later, Taylor Swift is returning to Europe with the highest-grossing concert tour of all time, and it’ll kick off with four shows in the French capital. From the setlist and timings to how to get your hands on some last-minute tickets, this is everything you need to know about Taylor Swift’s upcoming shows in Paris.
The pop queen will kickstart the European leg of her Eras Tour at Paris La Défense Arena on May 9, 10, 11 and 12.
Eras Tour shows span an average of three hours and 15 minutes, with some concerts lasting as long as three hours and 45 minutes, as Taylor has quite a few surprises in her bag.
During the US leg of the tour, doors opened at around 4.30pm, followed by the opening act at 7pm, and Taylor took to the stage at around 8pm. During the last Singapore show, Taylor came on stage at 7.30pm and performed surprise songs at 10.15pm, with the show ending at 10.50pm. Timings will vary for Paris – watch this space for specifics.
The registration period for Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in France is now closed, and the official site to purchase tickets is closed. However, there are resale vendors like StubHub, Vivid Seats, Viagogo and Seatpick to buy tickets for the European leg of the tour.
Those lucky enough to get tickets in the pre-sale and official sale would’ve paid anywhere from €69 to a whopping €774 for VIP tickets. Currently, resale tickets for Taylor’s Paris shows are priced at around €250 for General Admission on Seatpick and Stubhub.
With ten ‘eras’, over 200 songs to choose from and now a brand-new album, which songs will make the setlist for Taylor Swift’s Paris dates? At previous shows, the singer has played a whopping 44 songs from her ten albums. However, with the recent release of her new album The Tortured Poets Department, fans may be looking at a new set, including songs from TTPD.
