It's hard to argue with the fact that the past year (or two) has really been Taylor Swift's year. Between the wildly successful Eras Tour and her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, she's everywhere right now, and if you're a Swiftie like me, you're probably loving it. I've had the new album on repeat for the past week, and I'm pretty sure that, at this point, my dog has memorized all of the lyrics. She's also watched the Eras Tour movie a few dozen times, which means she is ready if the next leg of the tour ever decides to allow dogs in.
And my dog is not the only one, apparently — at least, not according to this TikTok video, where one pup is ready to sing along to every song Taylor performs on stage.
Recently, @finntok1021 shared a peek at what happens when her dog, an English Cream Golden Retriever, watches the Eras Tour movie now that it's streaming on Disney+. Looks like Finn and I have a lot in common, judging by this video!
As soon as he walked in the room and saw Taylor on the screen, he was transfixed — he stopped what he was doing and watched the screen, paying such close attention. I'm so amazed by this!
"Finn was captivated. He's a Swiftie," Finn's mom wrote in her caption.
This is just too cute. Hey, next time she leaves the house, she knows exactly what to put on… and since the concert movie runs for more than three hours, he'll have plenty of entertainment to keep him company while she's gone.
This sweet Golden does seem like he'd be a perfect concert buddy…
His fellow Swifties gushed over him in the comments, with one writing, "That’s me when I come back as dog and I’m like finally someone is playing Taylor so I can watch!"
There are a lot of things that this pup might like about the Eras Tour movie, from the bright colors on screen to the performances… and for Finn, it might even be the music, too.
According to what veterinary behaviorist Lisa Radosta told Daily Paws, some dogs do like music, and others aren't that into it. Studies have shown that it may help calm dogs who are stressed, as long as it's the right kind!
In the study, dogs responded well to classical music, heavy metal, and pop, so it's no wonder that Finn loves Taylor, who falls right into that category.
Interestingly, dogs are most calmed by audio books. Who knew?!
Here's hoping Finn is enjoying the new album. Taylor might be a cat lady, but she'd probably love to know he's a fan.
