She has been married to Will Smith since 1997 although they’ve been separated since 2016
Following her latest statements in the media, during which she revealed her and Will Smithhave been separated for seven years, Jada Pinkett Smith is supposedly looking for a new celebrity lover, according to her friends.
Now, Pinkett Smith is looking to move on after a marriage that has been struggling since as early as 2015, with the performer reportedly cheating on Smith with August Alsina, although she denied it.
“Without Will, Jada would be a nobody in Hollywood,” an insider told The National Enquirer. “But she’s gotten restless with the hit he’s taken to his career since the Oscars fiasco and started ripping him in public.
“People around them believe she may be looking for greener pastures – and another famous partner.”
The actress and actor have had a widely publicized and controversial marriage, which has been the subject of media attention in part by the pair constantly discussing it to press.
The most recent update is that they’ve lived apart for years and that Will Smith called her his wife for the first time in years when he struck Chris Rock at the 2022 Academy Awards ceremony.
She said that this left her concerned for the mental state of her legal husband, and the concern is echoed by her children, but whilst she’s said to be moving on, she does claim to still love Smith.
“There’s so much love, you know, between us,” Pinkett Smith said to Red Table Talk. “Different things have transpired over the last two years and Will and I have been doing a lot of healing together.
“And, you know, we have made our way back to this interdependence, this beautiful loving space between us, and we’re family, and we’re figuring it out, and it’s a beautiful figuring it out. Been beautiful. Got a lot of love.”
