GloRilla made a shocking revelation in October 2022 regarding a famous cousin of hers. During an interview with Big Boy on Big Boy’s Neighborhood, the Memphis star claimed that Cardi B is her cousin.
Now, the Bronx rapstress has confirmed those revelations on the same radio show, while also providing some back story to how they’re related.
“A lot of people don’t know this, my grandfather, he used to push weight and everything and there was this one time that he lived in Tennessee and whatever,” she began. “He really told my grandma that he was dealing with somebody over there and then he had a kid out there and you know like, that’s GloRilla’s dad.”
“Yeah, that’s my cousin,” she added. Cardi also shared that she found out their family tree news through the DNA service, 23 and Me, after having a “feeling” that she and the “Yeah Glo” rapper had a deeper connection.

Back in October 2022, Glo spoke with Big Boy where she initially shared the family news, but at the time did not give details out of respect.
“Foreal, foreal. That’s my cousin,” Glo spoke of the “Jealousy” rhymer without sharing how they were related.
In the same year, the two collaborated on the award-nominated song “Tomorrow 2” where Cardi also appeared in the music video.
Extending the family tree, the “F.N.F.” artist also revealed her relationship to Lil Uzi Vert last month. During an interview with the Past Your Bedtime podcast, the CMG signee revealed that the Philly rapper is her cousin too.
“That’s my cousin,” she said. “That’s my real cousin.”
When asked why she and Uzi have yet to release music together, Glo explained, “We’re actually working on it. We gon’ get it together. Well, we never started on a song but we gotta get it together.”
