Taylor Swift's boyfriend Travis Kelce admits he's learned a lot from the singer – The Mirror

Travis Kelce is set to host the second edition of his Kelce Jam music festival next month, with the NFL star admitting he has learned a lot from girlfriend Taylor Swift
Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, has learned a lot from his girlfriend Taylor Swift about hosting big music events.
He's planning to make Kelce Jam, his music festival, even bigger and better than the first one he held in 2023 when he brings it back on May 18. On Tuesday, it was announced that artists Lil Wayne, Diplo, and 2Chainz will be performing at Kelce Jam next month. The NFL star is excited to celebrate with his fans again in Kansas City.
Just like in 2023, Kelce is expected to join the artists on stage throughout the festival. But he knows he can't be like his superstar girlfriend Swift – and claimed he doesn't want to be – as she is the best at what she does.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: "Don't try and be Taylor, that's what I learned. Yeah, she's on a whole other stratosphere. She's the best at what she does for a reason. That's the beauty of it. I'd be silly if I ever tried to take anything from what she does, other than just enjoy the people that show up."

Swift won't be at the festival as she's due to perform in Stockholm, Sweden on the same date. Kelce Jam 2024 will take place at the Azura Amphitheater, Kansas City, and the organisers are hoping to sell more than the 20,000 tickets they sold last year.
The Chiefs star has been loving the spotlight and his fame has shot up since he started going out with Swift last year. While he can't imagine putting on a show as good as her Eras Tour, he has learnt a lot from her, especially about how to connect with fans.
"She really relates to the people she's performing in front of, and so I'll take that," he said. Kelce has only put on one big festival himself, but he's been to lots of Swift's concerts and knows how important it is to make the fans feel part of the show.

He first watched Swift sing in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After the Chiefs won the Super Bowl, he jetted off to Australia and Singapore to cheer her on during her Eras Tour performances. Now, it's Kelce's turn to be the star again.
Last year, Machine Gun Kelly and Rick Ross were the main acts at Kelce Jam, and the NFL player can't wait to see what happens next month. "It was such a blast that I had to do it again this year. I'm so excited," Kelce shared. "It's going to be so much fun and I cannot wait to get back out and celebrate with KC, man."
Tickets for Kelce Jam start at $50 (£40), and if you want to go VIP, it'll cost up to $250 (£198). Kelce is telling fans to sign up for pre-sale tickets because he expects them to sell out fast.
