Cardi B Makes A Huge Splash With "Enough (Miami)" – Ratings Game Music

Cardi B is starting to sound like her old self again.

Cardi B has been relatively quiet on the music front since her 2018 album Invasion of Privacy. It seems like she’s been dealing with some personal issues during this time, and perhaps she hasn’t been in the right mindset to release new music. However, it looks like she’s starting to find her stride again. Recently, she dropped a freestyle titled “Like What,” and now she’s back with a new single called “Enough (Miami).”
Cardi B’s signature style shines through in “Enough (Miami).” In the song, she flaunts her impeccable fashion sense and boasts about her recent accomplishments. Additionally, she reiterates her dominance over her competition, a message that may elicit eye rolls from Nicki Minaj fans.
To be honest, I don’t love how this track sounds. While I’m all for Cardi B delivering aggressive rhymes about outdoing her rivals, this song feels like a repeat of her previous menacing tracks from five years ago. In essence, it sounds like more of the same old s**t.
I want to see Cardi B expand her sound just a little more.
